MetalPrints - Beautiful Prints on Aluminum

MetalPrints™ represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. Metal Prints are available in 4 different surfaces: High Gloss, Satin, and Sheer with a Glossy or Matte finish. You've never seen a more brilliant and impressive print! Colors are vibrant and the luminescence is breathtaking. Detail and resolution are unsurpassed. To compliment this unique printing method, we have also developed a variety of ultra-modern ways to hang and display your Metal Prints.

How archival are MetalPrints?
Images printed with the MetalPrints process will last for generations when displayed indoors and out of direct sunlight. Like any fine art print, MetalPrints should not be exposed to direct sunlight or high outdoor temperatures. MetalPrints have an additional benefit over gicleé or photographic processes in that they are waterproof and have an ultra-hard scratch resistant coating. The archival value of a print should be judged not only by its resistance to degradation by U.V. light and ozone exposure, but also to moisture and surface damage. When these factors are brought into the equation, MetalPrints are an excellent way to preserve an image.

Metal Print Surfaces and Options

Metal Prints are available in these surfaces:

White High Gloss - Brilliant high gloss surface that shows every detail. Excellent surface for any subject matter especially nature, water, cars and so on. Maximum wow factor.
White Satin- Smooth, very even and soft appearance. Great for portraits, weddings and if surface reflection is a concern.
Sheer- Allows the surface of the metal to show through giving the image a translucent luminescence. This unique material works well with high key images and images with subtle color transitions. Available with a Glossy or Matte finish.

For Double Float Metal Prints, the surface is individually selectable for both prints

Single MetalPrints

Available in a wide range of sizes from 4x6 to 30x40

Optional Float Mount Blocksor corner-drilled holes. Easel Stands can be ordered with print sizes 5x5 up to 11x14.
Multiple corner options , including Sharp Square*, Rounded or Scalloped.

Double Float MetalPrints

Double Float Metal Prints are unique way to present your photos on metal. A single MetalPrint is floated 3/8" off the surface of a second, larger MetalPrint, creating a contemporary "framing" effect.

The back image creates a 1" frame around the smaller MetalPrints and a 2" frame around the 16x16 or larger MetalPrints.
The back print can be an image of your choice, or a color
Sharp Square*, Rounded, or Scalloped Corners can be specified for each print.
Prints are delivered with a hole drilled in the back for easy hanging.
High Gloss, Satin, Sheer-Glossy and Sheer-Matte surfaces are individually selectable for both prints.

Framed Double Float MetalPrints

Select sizes of Double Float Metal Prints can be ordered mounted and ready for display in a contemporary wood frame with a pewter finish.

Available sizes include a 8x8 MetalPrint Floating on 12x12, 12x12 Floating on 16x16, and 16x16 Floating on 20x20.
Prints are framed without glass, and are mounted recessed in the frame by approximately 1½" for added depth and a contemporary presentation.
The back print can be an image of your choice, or a color.
The front print can have Sharp Square*, Rounded, or Scalloped Corners.
High Gloss, Satin, and Sheer surfaces are individually selectable for both prints.

MetalPrint Wall Cluster and Splits

Increase the impact of your wall displays with Metal Prints Clusters and Splits! Teddy B Photography makes it easy to create contemporary wall collages with designer groupings of MetalPrints for truly amazing presentations.

Wall Clusters are a series of multiple images grouped together. Splits use a single image spread across prints for a dramatic mosaic effect. Cluster packages are discounted at 20% less than the individual mounted print prices, and are designed to be hung 1" apart. Photo Military Dog Tags and License Plates

Your choice of a 3” or 30” chain is included with every Dog Tag.
Dog Tags are great for a variety of uses, including zipper pulls, luggage tags, and more!
Plastic silencers for Dog Tags can be added in a wide range of colors.

Please note: MetalPrints™ are printed on aluminum that has a coating applied with state of the art coating machines. The coating that is applied sometimes contains some small imperfections such as small craters or bumps. We inspect each sheet very carefully and if there are imperfections we place them in the most unobtrusive parts of the image. We cannot remake MetalPrints due to these imperfections unless they are located in a very prominent part of the image. MetalPrints are weatherproof and moisture proof, but they will fade like a normal photograph, so please avoid direct sunlight.

*Sharp Square Corners can be quite sharp and should be handled with care. We do not recommend ordering Sharp Square Corners on MetalPrints that will be displayed in areas where people may be close to or seated underneath the MetalPrints.
